The Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India (CERSAI) on August 18, 2026, notified regarding the New Registrations of Reporting Entities (REs) in CKYCRR 1.0 and claiming TDS on hold and Incentive by existing REs in CKYCRR 1.0.
CERSAI has issued timelines for CKYCRR 1.0 registrations and pending activities ahead of the launch of CKYCRR 2.0. REs whose documents were verified but testbed activity is pending must complete the testbed by August 24, 2026, failing which their applications will be rejected and they will need to register afresh under CKYCRR 2.0. Applications/documents received by CERSAI up to August 20, 2026, including applications previously kept on hold, will be processed, with the testbed to be completed by August 27, 2026.
CERSAI will not accept new registration requests from August 20, 2026 under CKYCRR 1.0. Fresh registrations will be accepted only after CKYCRR 2.0 goes live, following the prescribed onboarding manual.
Existing REs must also complete their pending financial claims: incentive claims up to June 30, 2026 and TDS claims on hold up to March 31, 2026 must be submitted to CERSAI for processing by August 25, 2026.
